The Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC) established Unipal GTC in 1994 as its FMCG distribution subsidiary in Palestine.
Focused on branded high quality portfolio, Unipal GTC started its operations with Philip Morris International, Procter & Gambles and a sister company Siniora Food Industries, later expanded the portfolio to include Kellogg’s, XL Energy Drink, KraftHeinz, Almarai, Americana canned products (GFI), EDITA, Duracell, COTY perfumes and Wataniya Mobile. Latest successful portfolio expansion included confectionary leader Ferrero and the latest Philip Morris International revolutionary innovation of IQOS.

As a full-service value-added distributor with a HQ situated in Ramallah, Unipal operates an extensive distribution network reaching over 6000 retailers. The POS are serviced with highly motivated and trained sales and merchandising teams and deploy a long-term loyalty / merchandising programs that enable execution with excellence. The in-market activities are complemented with sophisticated commercial and marketing support using latest forecasting and BI tools to maximize value delivery to the market.
The main distribution center has a capacity of 8500 palettes, is designed and operated to best in class standards on regional level situated in Ramallah, another hub DC is situated in Gaza with 800 pallet capacity, and the latest expansion of chilled DC is under construction to increase the frozen/chilled storage capacity to 500 pallets. The DC and overall Unipal operations are kept under strict QA standards, resulting in operations efficiency and cost optimization, this was rewarded by winning P&G Pinnacle award, with the highest rating among CEEMEA distributors.
Unipal GTC has a strong print on the Palestinian economy, the impact of our business affect thousands of households, and stream income to Palestinian Authority treasury.
Aspiring to $500MM net of sales by 2018, Unipal’s business has tripled in size over 10 years despite the political and economic challenges in Palestine.
